Hotel Arrangements For Out OF Town Attendees

To make individual reservations, many of our attendees opt to find a location near the University of Nevada Campus (UNLV) since that is where the workshop is conducted. However, you are free to stay anywhere in the Las Vegas area since we do not have any special pricing agreements with specific hotels or any third party agency. Also, if there are multiple attendees coming together to the Workshop, contact the hotel of your choice directly for group arrangements.

Your evenings will be free after the workshop ends each day so feel free to explore all that makes Las Vegas a world-wide destination. Lunch Is Provided

Lunch will be catered for both days of the workshop and is included in the cost. . Coffee and a light continental breakfast will be provided in the morning - you are on your own for dinner  One thing Las Vegas is definitely known for: spectacular restaurants with amazing food. Search for restaurants based on cuisine type, location, meals served, price range and more at Vegas.com.  But remember, like the hotels, Las Vegas restaurants book quickly during some seasons so place your dining reservations well in advance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Getting Around Las Vegas

Once you make it to Las Vegas, there are a variety of ways you can get around town, including the Las Vegas Monorail and taxis. We do not offer shuttle service from McCarran International Airport to our Workshop or your hotel. However, there are several companies that do offer shuttles, including limo services. Limos and shuttles are located outside of baggage claim

 

  • Rental Cars - The McCarran Rent-A-Car Center is located at 7135 Gillespie Street, just three miles from the airport with easy freeway access to Interstates 15 and 215 and the Las Vegas Strip.  The Center is open 24 hours and features state-of-the art customer service facilities. Arriving car rental customers will be transported to their vehicles by dedicated blue-and-white McCarran Rent-A-Car Center shuttles for the three-mile trip to the Center and the car rental company of your choice. Follow signs to Ground Transportation from Baggage Claim

  • Taxis - More than ten taxi companies provide service to and from the airport and locations throughout Las Vegas.  Taxi cab service is regulated by the Nevada Taxicab Authority, a Nevada State agency responsible for issuing medallions and setting fares. Some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Customers should notify the driver in advance if they plan to use a credit card for payment. There is a $2.00 charge on all fares originating at the airport. The maximum number of passengers allowed in any taxi is five (5), including infants and children.
